Story
The Story of Xiang Yu is a famous story in Historical Records, by Sima Qian.
We choose the most tragic part of the story, which tells about Xiang Yu's failure in the war and his escape with his wife, Yu Ji, but he is outnumbered by the enemy and commits suicide in the end
Mechanics
Players can choose three different ways of moving, in which represent the horse, the bishop, the war chariot.
The goal of the first level is to move to certain point on the map.
The goal of the next two level is to protect your concubine.
Music
I choose certain part of classical lute music to express this tragic. BGMs are excerpted from the famous Pipa song "Ambush on All Sides"
I'm extremely proud that the music and sound FX really fits the mechanics, the visual effect, and the story.
Team
The team consist of 8 people in which there are 4 designers, 3 programmers, 1 technical artist.
I did part of level disign and fully responsible for sound design and edit.
We came up with the idea of this game together and work cooperate closely.
